After several months of development, we are please to announce the long awaited arrival of the 'JoomlaCK Editor Manager'. It opens up a world of possibilities! In it simplest form - it’s a way of effortlessly extending the JoomlaCK framework, without the need of programming knowledge! And because the JoomlaCK editor is built upon a state-of-the-art plug-n-play framework, you can expand it and shape it in any direction! However, it’s not mandatory to have for the editor to work, and not a requirement if you wish to manually install JCK plugins.

With excitement, we are please to announce the official release of version 3.3.1.

In this release we have worked hard to add some maturity to the project, which includes a total of ‘99’ new fixes and features!  This extends to improving our 'jFile browser', adding a new 'User folder plug-in' and upgrading the existing CK framework to a plug-in based system, which means that the editor can now be easily extended with 3rd party plug-ins!

The CK engine is brand new and its architecture is totally different to the FCK engine. Some features and parameters that are available in the JoomlaFCK are not available in the JoomlaCK editor and vise versa. This is because the JoomlaFCK editor has seen years of development while JoomlaCK is the new kid on the block! Our objective with this release, is to bring the first stable version to the community! Although the editor has undergone extensive testing we are likely to find more bugs in this first official release, we promise to deal with any we find as quickly as possible.
