With excitement, we are please to announce the official release of version 3.3.1.

In this release we have worked hard to add some maturity to the project, which includes a total of ‘99’ new fixes and features!  This extends to improving our 'jFile browser', adding a new 'User folder plug-in' and upgrading the existing CK framework to a plug-in based system, which means that the editor can now be easily extended with 3rd party plug-ins!

A new direction

We are heading in a new direction, which will soon see the editor accompanied with a component.  This will allow users to install and uninstall 3rd party extensions, with the ability to control what buttons are displayed in the editor’s tool-bars.

The editor works with the JoomlaCK component but is not be dependant on it! This means that the editor still comes pre-configured; it has all the advantages of being a simple 3-click-install, but soon you will be able to extend its functionality.
