The new CK architecture, marks the next generation of internet based editors. Its performance is truly amazing, thanks to its brand-new state-of-the-art JavaScript API engine and boasts in a fully customizable platform. In this repository you will find both series of the editor: the 3.x and 2.6x (aka JoomlaFCK editor).

There are already numerous amounts of pre-made plugins available for the CKeditor. And to Joomlalized them all you need to do is create a simply xml file similar to any Joomla install file for third party extenstions, then place it in the root folder of the plugin and then use the JoomlaCK Editor Manager  to install it--Job done!. It really is that simple.

The JoomlaCK Editor Manager opens up a world of possibilities! In it simplest form - it’s a way of effortlessly extending the JoomlaCK framework, without the need of programming knowledge! And because the JoomlaCK editor is built upon a state-of-the-art plug-and-play framework, you can expand it and shape it in any direction! However, it’s not mandatory for the editor to work, and not a requirement if you wish to manually install JCK plugins.
