The JCK Word Count Inspector is a free plugin for the JCK editor. It works to calculate the number of words in a document or passage of text and does this automatically, on the fly in the editor status bar.
Word counting may be needed when a text is required to stay within certain numbers of words. This may particularly be the case in academia, legal proceedings, journalism and advertising. Word counts may be also be used to calculate measures of readability and to measure typing.

Installation Notes

• Please note that this "plug-in" is required to be installed via the editor's JCK Manager component. This looks and works similar to the stock Joomla installer allowing users to expand the functionality of the editor with JCK plug-ins. Please see our Installation Guide for more information.
