Jckplugins is not defined 1 Year, 6 Months ago Karma: 1
After I installed the JoomlaCK Editor Manager I get this error on the editor page:

Meddelelse: 'jckplugins' er ikke defineret (not defined)
Linje: 194
Tegn: 1
Kode: 0

Is there something wrong with the JoomlaCK Editor Manager?

Best regards

Hi Mads,

Thank you for your post.

It could be an issue with your file permission however, before we get there could you please try the following:

1. Uninstall the editor, plugins and then component?
2. Install the latest version of the editor ‘FIRST’ (version 3.3.1) and publish the plugin.
3. Then install the component and JCK plugins.

Take care,

P

Hi again Mads,

We run our development servers on Apache using php 5+ and MySql 5+. I’ve tested the editor and component using IE (8.0.6001.18702IC) and have not been able to reproduce the JavaScript error.

Where do you receive this error? Is it in a 3rd party component?
The error message states that jckplugins.js is not defined on Line: 194, is there a particular function not working?
Does this happen if you use another browser like FireFox?
Could you provide me with a screen-shot of the page where the error is thrown?

Thanks,

Paul

Thanks for your reply

As you can see on the attached image I get the error both in front and back-end. (new article Joomla!)

The error message states that jckplugins.js is not defined on Line: 194, is there a particular function not working?
Yes when I click on etc. the image button I get these errors:

2 x the 'jckplugin is not defined and an error: 'there is not enough memory'

Does this happen if you use another browser like FireFox?
In firefox it seems to work without errors.
I have tried an other computer with IE 8, and that shows the same errors.

Could you provide me with a screen-shot of the page where the error is thrown?
Yes have inserted 2 images

If you want access to the site to look, I can send the access details in a mail if you have one I can use.

Best regards

Hi amadseman ,

Thanks for taking the time comment.

The error message 'there is not enough memory' is simply saying that your configuration does not have enough memory available to complete task.

The way you can check your available memory limit in Joomla! is to login to the back-end > go to > Help (on the top menu) > system Info > PHP Information > and scroll down to Configuration and check your memory_limit.

Our site is host on www.joomlawired.com and they have a default PHP _limit for 200MB so that works nicely.

However if your memory_limit is set lower try increasing it which will resolve your issue.

Take care,

Thank you very much for your quick reply

The way you can check your available memory limit in Joomla! is to login to the back-end > go to > Help (on the top menu) > system Info > PHP Information > and scroll down to Configuration and check your memory_limit.
My settings was is:
memory_limit
Local:64M
Master:32M

I have increase the limit through .htaccess to 200M
But I still got the same errors

Update:

When I uninstall the JoomlaCK Editor Manager, I got no errors in the default Joomla, only the memory error comes when I use the editor in EasyBlog.
So the memory issue is related to EasyBlog component.

But the jckplugins error is still there when I install it, and I don't think it is related to other components because I get it when I use the editor in default Joomla!.
I have tried to choose a default Joomla template (rhuk_milkyway), but it's the same.

I have now wrote the memory issue in the EasyBlog Forum, so think they will resolve that.

But the other issue with jckplugin (Editor Manager) I can't figure out

Is there anything else I can try?
I have wrote another issue for the Image editor plg, can they be related?
When I click on the Image editor button I get "Could not create watermark folder".
Just a thought?

Thanks
