No images shown in editor or in "inset Image" 2 Years, 3 Months ago Karma: 0
I have just installed the editor in a new Joomla installation.

But I can not see the images in the editor or file manager. Looking on the final page on the website there are no problems.

In tinyMCE I had no problems with the images - but there I missed a lot of functionality.

Hope that you can find a solution for me.

Thank you for your post.

Would you be so kind to check your Directory Permissions.

This can be done simply by going to Help > System info > Directory Permissions in the back administrator end of Joomla.

For Joomla and our editor to work correctly all directories need to be writable. If this is the case it is very important to comment the same.

Thanks,

Hi

I have checked the Directory permissions and they are all writable.

Du you have other suggestions?

Hi Jill,

If you are sure that it is not a file permission error, it could be a URL configuration? Joomla needs a variable called live site to operate correctly.

These setting should be found in your global configuration and in your configuration.php file.

Hope this helps,

P
