Lataest version of JCK

G'day

The image plugin (upload ) works fine - but the doclink ( upload ) just gives this error

404 Not Found
The requested URL /undefined does not exist.

and asks you to type the link in the field on the link section, which is obviously not what you are attempting to do.

any ideas ?

cheers

Hi hymo42

How are you accessing your domain?

Is it: yourdomain.com or www.yourdomain.com or www.yourdomain.com

Is this happening on the upload tab?

What happens when you try to upload using the file browser via the file browser?

I know you said you are using the lastest vesrion of JCK but can you give the version number beacuse you must be using 3.1.1

Is this a manual installation or did you use the JCK Manager to install the plugin?

could you provide a screen shot?

G'day

Have tried accessing the domain both ways. And am testing on 2 different servers.

I am using with Jomsocial

this is the version I am using - CK API Engine 3.3.1 (revision 5586)

It is the upload tab that I am using.

Sorry I don't know what you mean by the "file browser" ? - but I can say that the image plug-in upload works fine.

I used the JCK plug-in mangaer

Can you tell me what browser are you using?

Are you using Safari?

Note:

You can also upload files using the file browser:

1. On Document Link info page click the browse server button and this launches the file browser.
2. click on the browse button at the bottom of the filebrowser and this will allow you to browse your system and select a file to upload.
3. Click Send To Server button

Hi kymo42,

Thank you for your reply.

Could I ask you to do something else which hopefully will give us a clue to what’s going on?

If you are a Firefox user, would you be so kind to install Firebug (which is a 3rd party extensions for Firefox - addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1843/ ).

Once installed would you open up Firebug > select the ‘Console’ Tab and copy and paste the ‘query’ when you received the error. This will help us see the response from the server and hopefully help us to diagnose the problem for you.

Take care,

Paul

Hi kymo42

If you look at the error message it seams to be an issue with the ‘joms.jquery.js’ file. If there is a JavaScript issues happening on the page, (as detailed in the attached txt file) it is likely to cause other JavaScript issues, hence the problem with the plugin.

By default Joomla come shipped with moo tools, it is possible that your jquery error is a result of a JavaScript conflict. I would suggest running jquery in jQuery.noConflict mode to see if that rectifies your problem.

Please see: docs.jquery.com/Using_jQuery_with_Other_Libraries for help.

Take care,

Paul
