Hi everyone!

I've just installed newest version on JoomlaCK and it's not working on Opera browser. I can't see it at all. This is not just on my Computer, my friends who are using Opera can' see anything too. O Firefox everything is ok. How can I fix this problem?

Have you clear your cache files? That is the first thing you need to do.

If that does not work could you supply us with the following

1. Joomla version
2. Browser version ( We have tested it on the latest version of Opera 10.63 with success)
3. Names of any JCK plugins you have installed.
4. Screenshots of any JS errors. You can check any errors using dragonfly (Ctr+shift+I)

This issue is not a CKRDITOR 3.4.2 issue but it seems to be a result of Joomla's Mootools 1.2.4 compatibility version of that JS framework.

The problem arises because in that modified version of Mooltools the native windows.opera object is replaced by a true or false flag??? Why they decided to do that is reasons only known to the developer!

Anyway we are looking at a work around to avoid depeneding on the native window.opera object when Joomla's Mootool 1.2.4 framework is loaded in.

Hopefully we will have a patch out soon.

I have created this JCK Joomla plugin that contains a patch that will override the CKEDITOR.env object and include additional checks without using the window.opera native object to determine if the browser is Opera when the Joomla MooTools upgrade plugin has been enabled.

Please install using The default Joomla Installer component.
This attachment is hidden for guests. Please login or register to see it.

Note: Only Opera users need to install this plugin using the Joomla default Installer and NOT the JCK Editor Manager.
