IE 7 bug ? 3 Months, 4 Weeks ago Karma: 0
Hello Joomla CK Editor team!

We have a strange behavior with Joomla! 1.5.25 Stable

I think it is becouse my customer is using an old version on IE - version 7. It is becouse it´s her daytime work companys laptop and they have only this version 7 for some reason.

I hope this odd behavior is becouse of this IE 7, and I ask your comment about it.

We have installed:
Joomla CK Editor 3.4.6 stable
JCKMan 2.6
jckexplorer 1.1

SO this is how it behaves:

If we edit an article with an image (with no tables around that image) and then we save the article, we loose the image! In fact we do not loose it, but the path to the image is automatically written wrong during the save process..

It changes to this:
www.catchline.fi/posemotions/component/c...t-behaviors-full.jpg

But it should stay like this:
www.catchline.fi/posemotions/images/posi...t-behaviors-full.jpg

So this part:
/component/content/article/

is just coming out from thin air!!

I feel like this is a IE 7 & joomla + Joomla CK Editor bug.

Also, if we did a link from image to and article with JTree, then it changed to this:

www.catchline.fi/posemotions/administrat...p;id=15&catid=12

so it goes to backend administartor! Crazy!

Well, what do you say about this?

Site is here and it works perfectly from my Win 7 Business with FireFox 9.0.1

Hi pekkizz ,

This was fixed from version 3.4.7 Beta on the 22 July 2011.

Please see changelog / www.joomlackeditor.com/downloads/jck-edi...265-version-347-beta / Base path issue with the image path in IE7

Thanks,

If you use JCK Editor, please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

I uninstalled all Joomla CK things: editor, JCManager, JCExplorer and CSS editor.

Well, this new "plg_upgrade_jckeditor3.4.7.2.zip" should be joomla 1.5 compatible. I installed it and it went through just fine. I got this blue message telling me installation was succesfull.

Now, if I go to article edit, I get this fatal error message:

Fatal error: Class 'JCKtoolbarPlugins' not found in /home/catchlinef/domains/catchline.fi/public_html/posemotions/plugins/editors/jckeditor/includes/ckeditor/htmlwriter/javascript/helper.php on line 129

I uninstalled everything and cleaned cache from joomla purged expired cache from foomla and installed again but the same error again.

What is wrong? My system information is this:

PHP Built on: Linux www21.zoner.fi 2.6.26-2-686-bigmem #1 SMP Wed Sep 21 05:29:18 UTC 2011 i686

Hi pekkzz,

If you uninstall the editor then you can't use the upgrade package beacuse you need to have the previous full version already installed. So what you need to do is download from this site the full package version and install the full version instead.
