I have the same problem as already described in this topic, but unfortunately, the solution is not the same, as I don't have any conflict with another editor. And I am using IE6, not IE7.

It is set as the default Editor, no other editor installed, I even tried to remove other editor plugins and buttons, but nothing made it work.

With the previous installed version, 3.2, everything was working fine.

I am using Joomla 1.15.20, JoomlaCK 3.3.1, IE6 and otherwise our Joomla installation works fine. On real browsers like FF and Chrome, no problem of course...

Thank you for your post.

The conflict in the post that you have drawn reference to is not with other ‘editors’ but with an ‘editors-xtd plugin’. These are the buttons located below the editing area. By default Joomla come with 3 default editors-xtd buttons ‘Image’, ‘Pagebreak’ and ‘Read more…’

The user (in that post) had a custom 3rd party plugin which caused the editor not to load. When he/she disabled the editors-xtd plugin the editor sprang to life. Maybe you could give that a try?

Indeed, I have not been accurate enough, I disabled every buttons I had, even in editors-xtd, but it does not work as well.
I just rolled back to 3.2, and I have no problem with this version under IE6.

Unfortunately we are unable to reproduce this on our servers. So could you please provide any screen shots and error messages that you are receiving when you try to view the editor in IE6
