Above image is a screen shot with the same problem after resetting safari, i think the same as clearing the cache in Firefox.

Firebug produced these errors upon doing these things:
  1. Clicking on the server browser from the image editor dialogue

  2. clicking on the drop down where <not set> is displayed

  3. Clicking on the brose button to upload a file

  4. selecting a file, then clicking upload

Hi neatpixel,

Thank you for your post.

You issues related to this post, please see: www.joomlackeditor.com/forum/7-file-mana...browse-for-my-images

We were hoping to release a new version of the editor (which has your fix in it) last week, however, something popped up which put a halt on things.

The good news is that we are back on the project and will have a new version with the community in the next few days.

Take care,

Paul

Hi.

I've installed the latest Joomla CK editor ver 3.3.1 plugin. But I got the same problem where can't see anything when tried to browse server. Tried to clean browser cache, but still has the issue.

1. Joomla version - Version 1.5.18
2. Server type: Apache
3. Editor version:JoomlaCK 3.3.1
4. Browsers: IE8 & Firefox 3.6.6
5. System: Apache 2.2.11, PHP 5.3.0, My SQL 5.1.36-community

6. error message:
Warning: Parameter 1 to plgEditorALLVideosParameters::afterLoad() expected to be a reference, value given in D:\wamp\www\libraries\joomla\event\event.php on line 67

On firebug, the response contained this:
<br />
<b>Warning</b>: Parameter 1 to plgDefaultUser::intialize() expected to be a reference, value given in <b>D:\wamp\www\libraries\joomla\event\event.php</b> on line <b>67</b><br />
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?><Connector><Error number="500" /></Connector>

Is this a known issue or if there is any workaround? thanks

regards

Hi neatpixel,

Thank you for your post.

There was an issue in version 3.2 which was addressed in 3.3.1, please see post: www.joomlackeditor.com/forum/38-known-is...browse-for-my-images . The fix was implemented and extensively tested on different J! version and environments.

If you still have trouble while using then 3.3.1 please try uninstalling and re-installing version 3.3.1, rather that upgrading it! Try re-download and install version 3.3.1 - please follow the Installing and Upgrading guide - www.joomlackeditor.com/downloads/installation-guide?start=2

IMPORTANT: Once you have upgraded/installed the the editor it is important that you clean out your browsers cached files for the new changes to be displayed correctly. Please see the following link for more information on how to perform: www.wikihow.com/Clear-Your-Browser%27s-Cache.

Thanks,

P

Thanks - I'll give this a try. Mine was a brand new clean install that I did yesterday - with both Joomla 1.5.20 and the latest 3.3.1 JoomlaCK editor - so it would suggest that there is a problem lurking somewhere.

OK - if you are still having problems we will need to know more about your configuration:

1.) Server type
2.) Browsers type & Version
3.) Are you using Joomla! recommend configuration:www.joomlackeditor.com/downloads/installation-guide?start=1
4.) Error message - If you are a Firefox user, would you be so kind to install Firebug (which is a 3rd party extensions for Firefox - addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1843/ ). Once installed would you open up Firebug > select the ‘Console’ Tab and copy and paste the ‘query’ when you received the error.

This will help us see the response from the server and hopefully help us to diagnose your problem.

Thanks,

P
