It now allows complete control over the editor’s layout. Users can create, publish and unpublish their own bespoke toolbars. It’s also surprisingly easy to manage thanks to its new user interface. Just select the layout element and drag-and-drop it to custom tailor your editor, your way!  It also comes with many advance configuration settings so you can now further customise the editor’s parameters like any standard joomla extension!

What's in the BOX:

Installer - The installer allows the user to install/uninstall 3rd party add-ons into the editor. This works for Plugins but will extend to include Languages and Skins in the near future. We plan to take it even further to unleash the full power of the JCK framework. This will permit developers to simply modify the editor's actual framework with PHP plugins!

JCK Plugins - A JCK plugin consists of a program that interacts with the editor. These plugins (or apps) are used to enable the user to quickly and simply customize or expand the functionality of the editor. This could be done to meet your needs to portfolio images in a stylish gallery light-box or used to add document management capabilities; the possibilities are endless!NOW with more official plugins than the JCE editor it has never been such a good time to make the switch! Plugin Manager - The Plugin Manager controls what buttons are displayed in the toolbar of the editor. It allows plugins to be published, unpublished and assigned to specific tool-bars in the editors GUI. In addition to this great feature the manager also allows you to define three default parameters for CK dialog plugins: Height, Title and Width. And if this was not enough you can add further customizable options for your JCK plugins as parameters are just like any standard joomla extension. Version 2.0 nows comes with the ability to publish and unpublish core plugins!

System Check -  If you have experience installation or usage issues with the JCK editor, this is for YOU! The component now has an intelligent API that will work to rectify any server-side file permission issue within itself. And if it is unable to do this, it will automatically perform a health check and notify you of the issue.

Sync - If you upgrade or reinstall the editor it will restore all of your customised toolbars and the published states of your plugins. The Sync button will synchronize the JCK editor with this component and it will also remove any plugins that are broken during an editor reinstall.
