The CK engine is brand new and its architecture is totally different to the FCK engine. Some features and parameters that are available in the JoomlaFCK are not available in the JoomlaCK editor and vise versa. This is because the JoomlaFCK editor has seen years of development while JoomlaCK is the new kid on the block! Our objective with this release, is to bring the first stable version to the community! Although the editor has undergone extensive testing we are likely to find more bugs in this first official release, we promise to deal with any we find as quickly as possible.

Where has the image editor gone?

The JoomlaCK editor doesn’t include the image editor found in the 2.6.x series (JoomlaFCK), this because the plug-in had to undergo a massive amount of development to make it compatible. However, we plan to release this plug-in and some other bespoke tools to the community under our Basic Membership subscription.
